Scholarly was an invaluable asset during the entirety of my college application process. My counsellors provided expert advice and guidance in everything from SAT, AP, and IELTS training, brainstorming sessions for writing compelling essays, Portfolio preparation for Architecture programs, and the overall support during the application process. Being an avid reader, I regularly participated in Scholarly’s Book Club sessions which further enhanced my reading comprehension and vocabulary skills.
Moreover, I believe pursuing two College-level Research Papers in Enviromental Science & Sustainability (Summer 2021) and Physics (Summer 2022) under Prof. Eric Pallat and Prof. Doros Petasis respectively boosted my admission chances to a great extent.
Team Scholarly was always available to answer my questions and provided the best advice, tailored to my individual needs. They were responsive and professional, and their dedication to me throughout the process made the admission process easy and enjoyable.
I am beyond grateful for Scholarly’s help, and highly recommend their services.

In Summer 2022, I took part in Scholarly’s Physics Research Paper Program. Our professor Dr. Petasis provided us with extremely insightful and engaging content in topics such as magnetism and quantum physics that provided me with the foundation required to pursue my research paper in Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectroscopy which is one of the fields that Allegheny College specializes in. The data was gathered by Prof. Petasis in his university’s physics laboratory on a live virtual call which allowed me to be involved in the data collection process.
In Summer 2021, I had enrolled in a research project for Computer Science with Scholarly. Similar to the Physics research paper, I had an extremely enriching experience in this project.
With Scholarly’s help and support, I learned how to effectively grasp scientific content that is beyond my coursework by following a methodical approach. I also got a broad overview of the entire process of researching, writing, editing and reviewing scientific research papers. My learnings are invaluable, especially because the course structure was designed to resemble the science senior thesis project that one pursues in the final year of their undergraduate course.

Thank You Scholarly, Allegheny College, and Prof. Michael Michaelides for this wonderful research experience.
As my school did not offer any research course as a high school subject, Scholarly seemed to be the perfect fit to explore new avenues under expert guidance while making the optimal use of my free time during the Summer of 2022. My overall experience with Scholarly has been a rather pleasant one; I’ve been able to have first-hand experience studying the field of economics and discovered its sheer diversity and importance in today’s world.

Through their assessment of my profile, they identified both my strengths and weaknesses, and developed a personalized roadmap for me to build upon my strengths and improve upon my weaknesses. This included taking AP exams, the SAT, writing research papers, reading books, and participating in community service.
I am particularly grateful to my counsellors, who helped me present my best version to admission officers, resulting in multiple admits from top US universities, as well as scholarships. With Scholarly’s expert advice and genuine support, the entire application process was seamless and hassle-free.
I strongly recommend Scholarly to anyone seeking to achieve their academic goals. The team provided me with an incredible experience, and I am truly grateful for their help. Thank you, Team Scholarly!

My love for Physics rightly guided me to participate in Scholarly’s Summer Research Paper Program in 2022. My aim was not only to improve my subject skills but also to learn how to write a research paper. I found magnetism particularly interesting as it was not covered in my school syllabus. Under the guidance of Professor Petatsis, I expanded my knowledge base in Physics and learned the fundamentals of magnetism, as well as the electron spin resonance spectroscopy, which is a tool used to uncover information about a paramagnetic material.
Overall, the program taught me how to write an outstanding research paper and was both enjoyable and enlightening. This experience was valuable in helping me understand the difference between conducting an experiment and presenting it in the form of a research paper. I believe that this is a critical skill for a successful physicist or engineer.
I am grateful to Scholarly for offering me this incredible opportunity.

My favorite subjects are Computer Science, Astrophysics and Math. Astrophysics or astronomy courses are normally available only in college. In Summer 2020, I enrolled for a credit course – Foundations of Astronomy with Scholarly. The course was conducted by Professor Jamie Lombardi who is a renowned professor in this field. The classes were well structured and covered the big bang theory, gravity, celestial timekeeping, orbits, light, the birth and evolution of stars, black holes and other compact objects, dark matter and dark energy. As a part of the coursework, I also wrote a research paper that was endorsed by the professor and subsequently published. I scored highly in the course and have developed a mentor in Professor Lombardi. Scholarly’s course provided me with substantial learning as well as a firsthand experience of undergraduate studies in USA. Enrolling for an actual college course while still in high school has helped me better understand the expectations from students, the pace of study and how to engage with the professors.
The overall experience has helped improve my college readiness. I would recommend the credit courses to students that are interested in learning and going the extra mile to differentiate themselves.

I studied Cognitive Psychology in Fall 2020 under Professor Aimee Knupsky. I plan to major in Neuroscience along with a Creative Writing minor while pursuing a pre-medical track in college. At school, I am a writer for an organization called Psych(ed) which aims to destigmatize mental illnesses. I had not seen many options for high school students desirous of pursuing neuroscience to get exposure to college level curriculum. As such, I was thrilled when I came across the Cognitive Psychology course in August 2020. Professor Knupsky is an excellent instructor and made the classes very interesting. We learnt about several mental processes including attention, perception, memory, language and problem solving. We also covered cognitive strengths, such as creativity and expertise, and weaknesses such as biases and mindlessness. This course helped firm up my thoughts about the choice of major as well as gave me exposure to college level curriculum while still in high school.
I really enjoyed doing the Cognitive Psychology course and would recommend this to students interested in business or pre-medical track in college.

My favourite subject is Computer Science which I plan to pursue in college. I enrolled for the Core Concepts of Physics course with Scholarly in Fall 2020. My objectives were to experience real college classes, work directly with university professors and earn extra credits. I must say that the course was extremely interesting and taught well. Professor Doros Petasis is deeply knowledgeable and ensured a lot of interaction in the class. We were encouraged to ask questions and lectures were followed by a good discussion. Although we were taught Newtonian Physics, the course helped me improve my college readiness as well as gave me a good picture about what to expect in college.
I would recommend the College Credit Courses to students that want to learn more and to develop their profiles.

My dream was to pursue my college education in Computer Science and Engineering from the USA. Although I have always been a strong student, I was worried about studies in the USA due to the significant cost involved. I had to work extra hard to differentiate my profile from other students and to stand out from the crowd. In this context I found out about Scholarly in 2020. I enrolled in the “Core Concepts of Physics” taught by Prof. Doros Petasis during the Fall semester. I enjoyed the classes and learning a college level course while still in high school. The classes were of a high quality and conducted very professionally. Professor Petasis is an excellent instructor and mentor. I earned four credits and a high grade in the course which helped strengthen my university applications. I also worked with the professor on a Research Paper which was subsequently published by Scholarly. While I had to make an enormous effort for my full-ride scholarship to New York University, the Credit Course and the Research Paper helped provide a clear differentiation and helped with the admission and scholarship decision.
I would like to thank Scholarly and Professor Petasis for believing in me and for being a part of my educational journey. I wholeheartedly recommend the College Credit courses and Research Papers to students that want to study at the top universities and improve their admission applications.

I enrolled for the Core Concepts in Physics course in Fall 2020 with Scholarly. The course was taught by Professor Doros Petasis and covered various topics in Newtonian Physics. The course provided me with substantial learning as well as a firsthand experience of college studies in USA. I thoroughly enjoyed learning from Professor Petasis, the style of teaching and the overall environment. Since I was doing the credit course in the Fall semester along with my regular school classes, I had to put in an extra effort for the eight-week duration. However, the effort was entirely worth it. Apart from learning the subject, I also got to improve my college readiness and strengthen my profile.
In hindsight, I am very happy to have done the Core Concepts in Physics course with Scholarly. I would recommend the credit courses to students that are interested in learning more and differentiating their profile.

I had my first association with Scholarly through their “Collegiate Quiz Championship” in Summer 2020. It was a fun, well organized event which not only tested many facets of knowledge but also kept students engaged during Covid lockdown. I did very well in the event and made it to the Grand Finale. Later in Fall 2020, I enrolled in a Scholarly credit course “Core Concepts of Physics” taught by Prof. Doros Petasis. This was a Calculus based course covering Newtonian Physics at college level. The teaching was of a high quality and interaction in the class was encouraged. I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and the overall experience. The technology and mode of teaching was seamless and created the ambience of an actual classroom.
I would highly recommend this course to students who aim to enhance their profile for selections to best global universities.

I have been associated with Scholarly for over a year now. I first connected to them through the University Quiz conducted in January 2021. Since then, it has been a tremendous journey filled with exciting research courses, events, and application support. I was delighted to take up their Research Paper course, which not only told me about researching but also academic writing and economics. We even organized a UN Quiz with them at my school MUN. Most recently, they invited me to a book talk. Reviewing essays and selecting colleges were the most crucial aspect of it. Above all the activities, the support that Scholarly offered me during my college application was exceptional.
Scholarly has done wonders for me, and I wish to be associated with them for a long time.

My experience with Scholarly has truly been phenomenal! I had enrolled in the “Introduction to College Level Research LS 190” program under the mentorship of Professor Doros Petasis, where we together worked upon EPR Spectroscopy and analyzed 5 bio-chemical samples, which ultimately led me to write a comprehensive research paper towards the end. The technology and mode of teaching was immaculate and created the atmosphere of an actual classroom. Moreover, the team at Scholarly is extremely amicable and they will make sure to stay in touch with you throughout your research experience. So, be rest assured that you are making the right investment! Engaging in research work helps you to differentiate your application from rest of the applicants and does bring potential value to your resume as it demonstrates the constructive use of your time and highlights the fact that you have gone out of your way to do something which displays rigor.
Getting into a highly selective college requires an X-Factor and diving into this research program with Scholarly would be your first step to achieve it. So, without wasting any time, go ahead and grab this opportunity!

My favourite subject is Economics, in which I plan to do my college majors. I enrolled for the Introduction to College Level Research Course in Economics in Summer 2021, under Prof. Michael Michaelides. My main objective was to see how the concepts that we learn in textbooks are applied in real life and to work directly with a university professor.
The course was fascinating and taught extremely well. Prof. Michaelides was very supportive and did not hesitate to answer each and every question that I raised. All the classes were followed by very informative discussions. Subsequently, in Fall 2021, I enrolled for research in Psychology under Prof. Aimee Knupsky. It was useful for me to understand human decision making and the unconscious biases that affect rational decision making. The experience of working under Prof. Knupsky was amazing. These research papers helped me understand my interests better and how my favourite subjects are taught in college. The relationships that I built with the professors and my classmates are valuable to me.
I strongly recommend Scholarly to students that are interested in studying at top universities and are looking for guidance with their profile building and overall preparation.

In Fall 2021, I enrolled for a College Level Research Program in Physics with Scholarly under the aegis of distinguished Professor Doros Petasis. Throughout the course, the professor guided us step-by-step on how to – read research papers, collect, and analyze data, conduct experiments, and finally publish it in the form of a research paper. Experiencing this entire life-cycle of a research paper not only enhanced my critical thinking but also helped me streamline my career goals. Overall, it proved to be a great profile differentiator for admissions abroad. Through this research paper program, I was able to showcase my college-readiness to the Admission Committee and bag admits from universities of my choice. I would wholeheartedly recommend this program to ambitious students who want to pursue their undergraduate from top global universities. It’s totally worth it.
